Servicing
Car Servicing in Market Drayton
Regular servicing keeps your car reliable, protects the engine and helps avoid larger bills later on. We service all makes of car and light van.
What a service includes
A service is a set of checks and replacements based on your vehicle's age, mileage and manufacturer schedule. We use quality parts and oils suitable for your engine, and we tell you what we find before doing anything beyond the service itself.
Oil and filter change
Fresh engine oil and a new oil filter — the single most important job for engine life. Suitable if your car is low mileage but the oil is due a change.
Interim service
Oil and filter change plus checks on the items that wear day to day: brakes, tyres, lights, levels, steering, suspension, belts, hoses and leaks. Usually suited to higher mileage cars between full services.
Full service
Everything in the interim service plus additional filters and inspections — typically air filter, fuel filter where applicable, pollen filter, spark plugs on petrol engines where due, plus a more detailed inspection of the underside of the car.
Major service
A full service plus longer-interval items your vehicle is due, such as brake fluid, coolant, gearbox oil or additional filters. We'll tell you which of these your car actually needs rather than fitting things for the sake of it.
Vehicle health checks
A check over of brakes, tyres, suspension, steering, lights, leaks and general condition — useful before a long trip, before an MOT, or if you've just bought the car and want an honest opinion on it.
How often should a car be serviced?
Most cars are serviced once a year or at a set mileage, whichever comes first. If you're not sure what your car is due, send us the registration and we'll tell you what the schedule says.
Service prices
Prices depend on the vehicle, the oil it takes and which service is due, so we don't publish fixed prices. Send us your registration for an accurate quote.
