Vehicle Repairs in Market Drayton

Everything else we look after, alongside servicing, diagnostics, timing belts and engine work.

Brakes

Brakes wear gradually, so it's easy to get used to them being worse than they should be. We check pads, discs, drums, hoses, fluid and the handbrake, then tell you what needs replacing now and what still has life left in it.

  • Brake pads and discs front and rear
  • Squealing, grinding or vibration when braking
  • Spongy pedal, pulling to one side, sticking calipers
  • Brake fluid changes and handbrake adjustment

Clutches

A clutch that slips, drags, judders or feels unusually heavy is on its way out. Because the gearbox usually has to come out to reach it, it makes sense to replace the related parts at the same time — the release bearing, and the flywheel where it's worn.

  • Engine revs rise but the car doesn't pull — slipping clutch
  • Difficulty selecting gears or a clutch that won't disengage
  • Juddering when pulling away
  • A high or very heavy pedal, or a noise when the pedal is pressed

Clutch work varies a lot between vehicles. Contact us for a quote.

General mechanical repairs

Most of what we do day to day is general repair work — the parts that wear out on any car with miles on it.

  • Suspension — springs, shock absorbers, bushes, drop links, arms
  • Steering — track rods, joints, racks, knocks and play
  • Cooling — radiators, thermostats, water pumps, hoses, overheating
  • Leaks — oil, coolant and other fluid leaks traced and repaired
  • Wheel bearings and noisy or rumbling hubs
  • Sensors, switches and electrical components
  • Exhausts, mountings and general mechanical wear

If you're not sure what the noise is, that's fine — describe it and we'll find out.

MOTs arranged locally

Revive Performance is not a DVSA authorised testing station, so the test itself is not carried out at our workshop. Instead you leave the vehicle with us and we take it to a nearby authorised test station about ten minutes away, then bring it back.

If it passes, we'll call you to collect. If anything fails, we explain what's needed and can quote for the repairs before any work goes ahead.

Vehicle collection and recovery

We can often collect or recover a vehicle that's being booked in for work at our workshop — useful if the car isn't safe to drive or won't start.

This is for vehicles coming to us for repair only. We are not a 24/7 service, we don't attend roadside breakdowns, and we don't offer emergency or national recovery. Availability depends on the job and where the vehicle is, so please ask when you enquire.
